To exercise these rights, please contact us at privacy@footyaccess.com with the subject line: "Children's Data Request".
How Do We Protect Children's Data?
We take the following steps to safeguard children's information:
- Limit public identifiers: We avoid publishing sensitive data such as full home addresses, birthdates, or contact details.
- Parental approval for public profiles: No child's highlight, photo, or profile is published without documented parental or guardian consent.
- Role-based access: Only authorized Footy Access personnel have access to systems that contain children's data.
- Secure infrastructure: We use secure servers, encryption, and industry-standard technical safeguards to protect children's information.
- Monitoring and moderation: All youth-submitted or youth-related content is reviewed before publication to ensure appropriateness and compliance.
While we take reasonable and appropriate measures, no digital platform is completely immune to security risks. If you believe that your child's data has been accessed or used improperly, please notify us immediately.
What About School, Club, or Coach Submissions?
If a school, club, or coach provides player information to Footy Access for coverage purposes, we rely on them to ensure proper parental authorization has been obtained. This may fall under the "school official" exception permitted by COPPA, where applicable.
In such cases, Footy Access may:
- Display youth athlete names, images, or performances publicly based on organizational consent
- Require written confirmation that consent has been secured from a parent or legal guardian
- Remove content upon verified parent request
What If My Child Appears on the Website Without My Permission?
If you see a video, image, or profile of your child on our platform and did not provide consent:
- Email privacy@footyaccess.com with the subject: "Minor Removal Request"
- Include the URL or screenshot of the content in question
- Include your full name, the child's name, and your relationship to the child
We will investigate the issue and, if verified, promptly remove the content or request supporting documentation if the content was submitted by a third-party source (e.g., club or coach).

We may update this Children's Privacy Policy from time to time as laws change or our services evolve. Any material changes will be clearly communicated via our main Privacy Policy page, in-app notices, or via email if we have your contact details.
We encourage parents to review this policy periodically.
